Seminars
Post-conference
seminars on selected topics were held during the week after the main conference
in and around Korea. The seminars were conducted in a workshop atmosphere
and designed to achieve a complete and systematic review of the current
state of knowledge. The contents of the scientific program in each seminar
were the sole responsibility of the seminar organizers and the local organizations
of SMiRT 15 were not responsible for anything on the seminars including
the content introduced. The following post SMiRT-15 conference seminars
were proposed:
PCS1 - Seismic isolation, passive energy dissipation and active control of vibrations of structures
PCS2 - Current issues in the evolution of risk-informed and performance-based integrity engineering
PCS4 - Containment of nuclear reactors
PCS6 - Fire safety in nuclear power plants and installations
PCS13 - Intelligent software systems in inspection and life management of power and process plants
PCS20
- Reliability of structural and mechanical systems
