Passing of Vernon Matzen on December 7, 2023

It is with much sadness and regret that we note the passing of our great friend and supporter of IASMiRT Professor Vernon Matzen. Vernon was Professor Emeritus at North Carolina State University, chair of SMiRT 19 in Toronto in 2007 and a highly regarded Board and Advisory Board member of IASMiRT for many years.
